The magazines and CDs have been the core of Authentik since 1978.

They come at two levels: Advanced and Intermediate

Advanced Package

The advanced package, which is absolutely unique in the world, is made up of :

1. the magazine (32 pages), which contains some 90 articles taken without alteration from the recent press of the countries where the language is spoken, selected with a wide variety of tastes in mind – sport, fashion, music, current affairs, cinema …
2. the CD (65 minutes), which contains
   • a selection of original radio broadcasts from the same countries, matching the topics in the magazines, some of them followed by slower readings by native speakers;
   • studio recorded discussions and debates by native speakers on the same topics.
3. the “Magazine Workbook”, which is downloaded from our website, contains:
   • the workbook proper, in Word format allowing users to write directly in it (e.g. to send homework by email),
   • a monolingual and bilingual glossary in Excel format, for every article in the magazine; this can become the user’s personal virtual vocabulary notebook,
   • a full transcript of everything on the CD.

And all of this 4 times a year, to match the four seasons!

Intermediate Package

Etincelle, La Cometa and Katapult provide:

• a 32-page magazine in 8 units of 2 to 3 pages each, containing just one or two articles per unit but lots of support in the form of exercises, games, etc,
• a CD of 30 minutes of studio-produced material, related directly to the articles (with the option of an MP3 licence for schools),
• a full transcript of all audio material,
• extra reading material of a lighter nature.

All of this 3 times a year!
